Training field service technicians for high-stakes medical equipment is traditionally expensive, location-dependent, and difficult to scale. Sadora designed Coalesce to make that entire experience feel as immediate and engaging as possible on a mobile screen. The AR training environment was the centerpiece of the design challenge — overlaying labeled equipment components onto the physical world with guided step-by-step instructions, then transitioning seamlessly into timed quiz rounds to validate comprehension. Outside the AR environment, the app needed to feel like a well-structured learning platform: a Discover feed surfacing relevant training modules, an Enrolled view for in-progress courses, a Certifications tracker with due/ongoing/finished states, and a gamified Profile system with XP levels, badges, and challenge rewards to drive engagement and completion. The result is a training experience that doesn't just replicate classroom learning — it surpasses it.
