Project Overview
Credence is an augmented reality furniture shopping app that bridges the gap between online browsing and in-store confidence. The app allows users to discover furniture across multiple categories, visualize any product in their actual living space at true scale using AR, customize variants in real time, and complete a seamless purchase — all within a single mobile experience. The project involved designing the full end-to-end user journey: from onboarding and product discovery through AR placement, cart management, checkout, and post-purchase profile management, including an AR Gallery where users can save and revisit their room configurations.
Challenge & Approach
The core design challenge was making AR feel approachable and integrated — not like a separate feature bolted onto a standard e-commerce app. Sadora designed the AR flow as a natural extension of the product page, with a prominent "AR View" CTA that transitions smoothly into the camera environment. Within the AR experience, a bottom sheet allows users to browse the full product catalog, switch variants in real time (materials and colors), manage multiple placed objects simultaneously, and add directly to cart — all without leaving the camera view. The onboarding sequence was designed to set expectations clearly across three screens (Design, Experience, Find), easing first-time users into the AR concept before they encounter it in context. The overall visual language — warm whites, soft neutrals, and an orange accent — mirrors the approachable, lifestyle-forward tone of the furniture category itself.
